3 Day Diets the Swiftest Way to Lose Pounds

There are a lot of three day diets out there like the raw food challenge, and it is not surprising why they’re so popular. The diets differ in what you get to eat and how you use them, but all of them make the same promise: fast weight loss. Terribly rapid weight loss.

The general promise is six pounds over the course of the diet. Since most of the people struggle to lose a pound a week, the promises of the three day diets are extraordinarily appealing. But these diets do raise two big questions; do they work and are they safe.

Do they work? Perhaps. If you need to lose some weight quickly to look your very best for an event, then these 3 day diets can be very effective, because if followed as instructed, they will help you drop pounds and inches.

The issue is that they are not actually designed for long-term weight management, which is the reason why they are 3 day diets and not 30 year diets. They work mostly by causing a quick loss due to low carbs and low salt content. Which is fine, because if you are using them as a quick solution, that is’s exactly what you need them to do.

But the weight will come back almost right away when you resume normal diet habits, which is true for pretty much every diet. The three day diets are also, by their nature, extremely low in big quantities, implying that your midsection will slim out quickly because there’s not too much in your viscera.

The 3 day diets do lead to actual fat loss also since by their nature they are low-calorie and they’re short enough that there is no metabolic slowdown as you would get if you stayed on the program longer. Dependent on your size and activity level, it’s irrational to expect to see from one to three pounds of precise weight loss.

Are they safe’ Yes, generally. Frankly, lots of people fret about the safety of diets lots more than they really should. The body is a massively adaptable machine, and you can eat pretty much anything foodwise for short periods with no unpleasant effects, or nothing at all.

Actually, almost all of the a few days diets are perfectly safe for a normal person who hasn’t got a preexisting sickness. You can’t develop nutritional deficiencies over the course of three days. In addition, almost all of the three day diets actually have you eating healthier than the average person does normally.

Typically, the diets have you eating often beef, plants and fruit over the course of the 3 days, and elimination starches and sugar. This is essentially a large improvement over the way that the normal person eats, and the chance of you becoming lacking in vitamins or nutrient elements, even over the long term, is nearly non existent.

The problem with 3 day diets is they are also very low-calorie, typically below one thousand calories, and often much below. This is just not enough calories even if you’re trying to lose weight, and so you can not say the 3 day diets are safe for extended use.

What you can do is do a 3 on, four off version of the diet. In the three day period, do the diets precisely as planned, but for the next four days, eat the same foods without limiting portions. This will forestall metabolic slowdown and help make the 3 day diets work for you.
