Conference call is a method to communicate with various parties in from different places through audio, video and web. There are three types of conference calling; web conferencing, video conferencing and audio conferencing. This service is very helpful for companies who have offices on various part of the World to communication regularly.

There disdvantages and advantages of having conference calls which are listed below.

One benefit of call conferencing is that it is cost effective. You will be able to invite more than one people to attend your meeting or presentation from various parts of the World other than doing it through the phone individually. Another advantage of conference calling is provided by video conferencing, which allows attendees to view the caller or vice versa.

However there are also disadvantages of choosing call conferencing; for example if you choose to do a audio conferencing then some of the remarks which are meant as a joke can be taken in a wrong way by some people as they will not be able to see the facial expression of the caller. Another disadvantage can be the quality of the call, more people you add to the conference the quality becomes lower and lower. The advantages of audio and web conferencing is the cost, these services are cheaper than video conferencing. Web communication is cheaper than the other services but it is very time consuming as you are communication via texts. Text based communication can also sometimes cause a lot of misunderstanding between two parties than audio and video conferencing.

Conference calling is one of the best ways of communication within many parties but it also has its ups and lows.
